Wir sind ende November zu GoGaddy gewechselt. Entschieden haben wir uns für einen dedicated Server mit Linux CentOs und PLESK. Was wir nicht wussten: GoDaddy bietet null Support für PLESK oder CPanel. Das führte dazu dass wir uns an einen externen Dienstleister wenden mussten um zumindest PLESK einigermaßen ans Laufen zu bekommen. Leider gibt es immer noch Probleme und GoDaddy weigert sich in irgendeiner Art zu helfen. Wenn wir es nochmal zu tun hätten würden wir uns für einen anderen Provider entscheiden.

My domain expired on 13-3-2022 (18 days ago). I didn't receive a single email in this regard to renew it or anything and now when I found out, I contacted them and they confirmed that they're holding the domain for 30 days but I will have to pay $80 + $19.99 to renew it.
After many requests they offered that they'll waive fees if I renew domain for multiple years with them.
This is straight forward extortion. Isn't it?
Porkbun, Namecheap and all other registrars out there have 30 days grace period.
I requested them so much that I can't afford to pay $80 for renewal but they didn't budge.
It's so so bad.
NEVER EVER buy your business domain with them, They have the 4th highest Renewal cost ($20) while epik, porkbun and all other have ($8)

Everything is junk - chat agents not answering, chatbot extremely stupid, music on phone line hold too loud too ugly and too annoying looks like they try to get you out of your patience and off waiting line. If you can avoid deal with this crock business stay away. They prices rise every year and they support go down every month... Personally I going to move all my domains from they ugly service in next few days.
I would choose negative stars if there an option.

I have been customer with Godaddy since a a long time. For renewals and payments they call thousand times and now when I need services they dont respond properly.

50 mins long calls with holds... unanswered tickets ...
Unanswered mails and what not. Only the customer care executive can speak sweet that's the only thing they have been song since 15th Sept 2020.

Fr F Godaddy! Why? First, they have no scruples about how they get your money. They have lied about information regarding payments, as they have stolen money for payments (using my payment info without my consent and then extracting those monies). Secondly, they overcharge you for very simple services, for example setting up several sites with Hostgator cost the price of installing one site on Godaddy (keep in mind you could do it yourself, but it's better the first time to have someone who knows it better, to do it). Lastly, they (like most hosting companies except a few) without hold information (about domains/hosting) that the consumers should know. Like, there is a source that governs the rules of that kind of stuff on the net. Infer with them before going to Godaddy. That way you know what's going on before they game you. We have domains all over because we simply did n't know how things worked, and Godaddy shows no signs of fixing their errors (as most people don't realize it, till it's too late, and they're already locked into hosting with Godaddy). *It takes 60 days to move your hosting to a new company, so NEVER lock into one company unless you are really really sure you want to be with them for a long time.

Overpriced and poor quality. Their templates are pathetic and can't be manipulated at all. They take all of the money that they charge and spend it on advertising rather than offering a good product. Their customer service is terrible. I've consistently been "cut off" or "dropped" when trying to get any assistance and if you do get a hold of someone they generally just try to sell you rather than help. The worst part is that they box you in with their services making it extremely difficult to transfer over to another company.

You all already know that recently May 4th, 2020 sites, 28,000 hosted with GoDaddy sites GOT HACKED!!!!!!!! Wordfence developers (known security plugin) received this information and publicly announced it. Details see on their blog. Short version: servers of GoDaddy are NOT SECURED AND NOT PROTECTED, VERY OLD, NOT SECURED HARDWARE, which should be in the garbage! Nothing against Ddos attacks has been done. So all databases hosted on them got hacked, 28,000 clients have no access to their databases, not by php client, not by ftp, and many have their sites simply down!!!!
GoDaddy and "Nanci Nette, Name Management Group" FELONY DISCLOSURE. Probably the feature POLICE case. Did you ever had this situation: you look for the domains for your company or for your client (and specially if you have a brand client with trademarks registered), and many times the domain is already taken, and GoDaddy propose you to pay 60$ to negotiate? Or you buy quiet expensive from "private user" domain in the auction? Yep, there's it is. And GoDaddy will never show who owns the domain of your client's brand. Many times you see this when you check for the owner in WHOIS other sources: "Name Management Group, LLC (Nanci Nette), 1619 NORTH LA BREA AVE, HOLLYWOOD CA, 90028, US".
When you see this know that this "Nanci Nette from Name Management Group" is actually GoDaddy itself.
I'm going to lay down discovered facts. There's no such person as Nanci Nette, not a single social media profile. This so called "Name Management Group, LLC" simply doesn't exist in the California registry, and never existed (checked). And you can see the records of this Nanci Nette, Name Management Group, LLC: this non-existing company owns about 45000 domains! And all of them only with GoDaddy!!! Address: 1619 NORTH LA BREA AVE, HOLLYWOOD CA, 90028, US belongs to THE AVENUE - luxury apartments for rent. Yep!!!! All letters, including legal services (thousands of them) transferred to GoDaddy address, according to information provided by management of THE AVENUE.
And of course I strongly suggest you to Google "Nanci Nette, Name Management Group, LLC" - you will see thousands lawsuits for "domain squatting". "Domain squatting" is ownership of the domains corresponding to brands names. For example I have company "My Domain", I own trademarks, I also have a domain "mydomain.com" and "mydomain.net", but I didn't purchase "mydomain.org" and "mydomain.info" or "mydomain.co.uk". Be sure that "Nanci Nette, Name Management Group, LLC" / GoDaddy bought it and wants to sell them to you for very high price. And also check how all lawsuits are going. This "Nanci Nette, Name Management Group, LLC" never responds to the complaint and judge orders to transfer the domain to the company who filed a complaint. GoDaddy does the transfer very quickly! Yep, all lawsuits go in this scenario! Little trick here though. Letting GoDaddy "to negotiate" the domain for you / or buying domain at the GoDaddy auction will be always less expensive than filing the lawsuit in WIPO or ICANN. Yep!!!!! GoDaddy FELONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
