Virtono offers all types of hosting services, from basic website hosting to unlimited shared plans, as well as top-notch SSD based Virtual Private Servers. However, they have truly exceptional VPS’s that are some of the fastest and most reliable around. All of their VPS’ use ONLY Solid State Drive’s — there are no standard spinning disks. Every node has at the very least a 2x Intel Xeon Quad-Core processor connected to a 1GBPS internet connection — the definition of exceptional. Their servers are virtually dedicated servers for a more affordable price.  Meanwhile, their shared and reseller plans are also high quality and affordable. Their basic shared plans while cheap are severely limited (5GB HD, 256MB RAM, 2 SQL DB’s) but run on extremely fast servers with unlimited bandwidth. Meanwhile, if you need something larger, their unlimited CloudLinux plan allows you to virtually have as many websites and disk-space as you want!

Virtono has a live chat available during business hours if you need immediate help. They also have an e-mail address and local address in Romania listed on their website. They also have a Romanian telephone number you can call, which unfortunately is not toll-free. Thankfully there’s a knowledgeable in your client panel with answers to common and important problems. Overall, the goal is for an easy to use platform that will have no problems. The support staff will gladly customize any plans to fit your needs while maintaining a similar affordable price.

What I love about them is that they offer everything a €100/month dedicated server will give you for the price of a VPS — starting at only €5 and ranging up to €80, you can get high quality SSD-only servers with unlimited bandwidth. As it’s SSD storage, hard disk space will obviously be smaller than other disks but the speed it will transfer your data is worth it. Meanwhile, their SSD-cached VPS plans are even more affordable, starting at just €2 per month and ranging up to €25. It’s clear: you won’t find a more affordable, higher quality VPS for these prices. If you just want basic website hosting, you can get premium hosting on SSD-accelerated servers for only €2 per month. While they only run CloudLinux, they include cPanel/WHM and are cloud-fare optimized. If you want an unlimited shared plan, you can get one from €4 to €20 a month, depending on how much dedicated RAM you want your shared server to have (384MB – 2GB). Finally, Virtono’s reseller hosting plans are well priced, starting at €16. With SSD shared hosts being so hard to find, it’s a great deal for anyone who has interested clients.

Summary

Nice hosting for those in Romania

Virtino is rated in HostAdvice’s top hosting list and its for good reason. It’s not hard to put together a server or two and start selling virtual space or shared accounts, but what is difficult and expensive to do is build Virtono’s infrastructure. Everything they offer runs on Solid State Drives (which are on average three times more expensive) with the best processors around, combined with the highest internet speed Europe has to offer, if you need quality at a good cost, they are great. If you care more about getting a terabyte of space over an SSD, there may be better options out there, but always keep Virtono in mind. Pros:
